Along with all of the other restaurants in The Charlottesville 29, Revolutionary Soup has created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for whoever pledges the highest donation to The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity of Revolutionary Soup, the entire winning bid goes directly to the food bank. And, thanks to the efficiency of the food bank, each dollar donated creates four meals for the area’s hungry.

A Year of Revolutionary Soup

Owned by restaurateur Will Richey, Revolutionary Soup is one of the best places in town for an over-the-counter lunch. It is also a sneaky-good dinner option – affordable, healthy, and delicious. The auction winner will receive an entire year of Revolutionary Soup. Anytime the auction winner wants, they may walk into Revolutionary Soup and order the soup of their choice. No charge. If they tire of soup, they can order any one of Revolutionary Soup’s excellent sandwiches, salads, or daily specials.

Note: The prize is good for 365 consecutive calendar days. The auction winner may not transfer the prize, and there is a limit of one item per day.

Along with all of the other restaurants in The Charlottesville 29, Brasserie Saison has created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for whoever pledges the highest donation to The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity of Brasserie Saison, Afton Mountain Vineyards, and Monticello Wine Tour & Coach Co., the entire winning bid goes directly to the food bank. And, thanks to the efficiency of the food bank, each dollar donated creates four meals for the area’s hungry.

Harvest Dinner for 20 at Afton Mountain Vineyards

From food to drink to service, Brasserie Saison is one of the most polished restaurants in town. The auction winner and up to nineteen guests will enjoy that polished experience in a whole new way: a harvest dinner at Afton Mountain Vineyards

The winner’s group will be chauffeured in luxury to the vineyard by Monticello Wine Tour & Coach Co., where they will enjoy a wine feast in the vineyard’s glass-enclosed pavilion. Brasserie Saison Executive Chef Tres Pittard will create a multi-course dinner themed around the winery’s harvest, with locally sourced, seasonally appropriate ingredients that highlight the bounty of the Blue Ridge. Afton Mountain winemaker Damien Blanchon will guide the group through vertical tastings of his wines, highlighting the variations that each harvest produces.

Note: The winner will schedule the dinner at a mutually convenient time with Brasserie Saison, Afton Mountain Vineyards, and Monticello Wine Tour & Coach, other than a Saturday or holiday weekend. Harvest time, during early September, is highly recommended.

Thanks to the generosity of Fleurie, the entire winning bid goes directly to the food bank. And, thanks to the efficiency of the food bank, each dollar donated creates four meals for the area’s hungry.

Wine Dinner of a Lifetime

For more than a decade, Fleurie has been among Charlottesville’s top destinations for lovers of food and wine. Fleurie will join one of the region’s best wineries, Lovingston Winery, to host a dream gastronomic experience for oenophiles. The auction winner and up to nineteen guests will sit on the veranda of Lovingston Winery and enjoy an over-the-top feast with show-stopping wines. Fleurie owner Brian Helleberg will dig deep into his personal cellar for rare and special bottles that sommelier Melissa Boardman will pair with the group’s dinner. As for the food, that will depend on the season, but from caviar to truffles to foie gras, Helleberg and Chef Joe Walker plan to create a meal that the group will never forget.

It’s the ultimate Fleurie dining experience: Wine Dinner of a Lifetime.
