Fleurie

Here is your chance to experience Fleurie like you never have experienced it before, while helping to feed the area’s hungry. It’s The Charlottesville 29 Restaurant Auctions, presented by McGuireWoods. Along with all of the other restaurants in The Charlottesville 29, Fleurie has created a signature experience available to whoever pledges the highest donation to The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Fleurie owner is generously donating the entire experience, which means the winning bid goes directly to the food bank. Each dollar donated is enough to provide four meals to the area’s hungry.  So, a winning bid of, say, $3,000 would mean not just a wonderful meal for the winner and their guests, but also 12,000 more meals for the area’s hungry.

The Fleurie signature experience for The Charlottesville 29 Restaurant Auctions:

Dinner Party of a Lifetime

For much of the exquisite food at Fleurie, the starting point is the home of chef-owner Brian Helleberg, where he grows his own produce. The auction winner and eleven guests will spend an evening at Helleberg’s home, where he will treat them to an unforgettable dinner party featuring produce from his garden and wines from his cellar. “I’m hoping to be able to give a glimpse of how my work as a restaurant owner and chef is so intimately related to how I live,” says Helleberg. The auction winner will have the opportunity to collaborate with Helleberg on the menu in advance, to ensure it meets guests’ tastes and dietary restrictions. And, wine writer and sommelier Erin Scala will personally make the wine pairings for the evening. Spend an evening in the hands of one of Charlottesville’s top chefs and sommeliers.

Note: The winner will schedule the dinner at a mutually convenient time for Helleberg.
