Sultan Kebab

Here is your chance to experience Sultan Kebab like you never have experienced it before, while helping to feed the area’s hungry. It’s The Charlottesville 29 Restaurant Auctions, presented by McGuireWoods. Along with all of the other restaurants in The Charlottesville 29, Sultan Kebab has created a signature experience available to whoever pledges the highest donation to The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity of Sultan Kebab, the winning bid goes directly to the food bank, and each dollar donated is enough to provide four meals to the area’s hungry. So, a winning bid of, say, $1,000 means not just a wonderful meal for the winner and their guests, but also 4,000 more meals for the area’s hungry.

The Sultan Kebab signature experience for The Charlottesville 29 Restaurant Auction:

Turkish Home-style Feast: From One Home to Another

Before moving to Charlottesville in 2006, Sultan Kebab owners Deniz Dikmen and Serhat Peker called Turkey home. For Dikmen, it was Izmir, in the West of Turkey. And, for Peker, it was Adana, in the South. For The Charlottesville 29 Restaurant Auctions, Dikmen and Peker are honored to prepare their favorite foods of their old home as a gift to their new home. Grateful for all that Charlottesville has done for them, they embrace the opportunity to give back to their community.

The auction winner and seven guests will enjoy a family-style Turkey feast, featuring an array of menu highlights as well as traditional home-style Turkish dishes typically enjoyed on special occasions in Izmir and Adana. To accompany the food, Dikmen and Peker will serve their favorite Turkish beers and wines.

Note: The winner will schedule the dinner with Sultan Kebab on a mutually convenient day.
