Homestyle IV sold out almost immediately. Anyone who has attended a Homestyle dinner in the past knows why. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy a no-holds-barred feast prepared by a man some call the nation’s best Szechuan chef. Plus, Champion Brewing Company is on hand to pair the food with select beers.
The good news is that you can still attend. A table of ten has been reserved for readers of The Charlottesville 29. And, seats at the table are being raffled off in five separate pairs.
For your chance to win one of the five pairs, all you have to do is make a donation to the Blue Ridge Area Bank. The more you donate, the better your chances of winning. Every $5 donated earns you another raffle entry, and each dollar is enough to provide four meals to the area’s hungry. So, donate $5 to provide twenty meals to the area’s hungry, and earn once chance to win. Or, donate $100 to provide 400 meals to the area’s hungry, and earn twenty chances to win. A random drawing will be held to choose the five winners. The feast is Wednesday, July 11, at 6 pm at Peter Chang’s in Charlottesville.
Here’s how to enter.
First, make your Blue Ridge Area Food bank donation here, and indicate that your donation is in honor of The Charlottesville 29.
Second, email proof of your donation to email@example.com.
That’s it! Check back on Monday July 9 for the announcement of the five lucky winners.
The drawing is complete. Thank you to all of the generous donors, whose donations in the drawing were enough to provide 3,000 meals to the area’s hungry. The lucky winners of pairs of tickets are:
