Unique Dinner at Public Fish & Oyster

We are blessed in Charlottesville with so many special restaurant events that they can start to run together. On Sunday, April 29, Public Fish & Oyster is hosting one that sure looks unique. For one night only, Public chef Gregg Dionne will welcome back former chef Donnie Glass for an over-the-top dinner and “behind the sheen” peek into the restaurant world. “We are taking a little different approach with this dinner,” says Public owner Daniel Kaufman. “We want to give the guests a little glimpse into the nonsense that sometimes goes along with operating a restaurant.” Guests can expect anecdotes from Glass, Dionne, and Kaufman about their experiences in the restaurant world and some of the characters who have crossed their paths over the years. “Raw . . . no holds barred . . . but always hilarious,” says Kaufman.

The format is one story to each course. And, the menu looks spectacular. $100 per person. Seats very limited. Call (434) 995-5542 to book yours.
