Duner’s is back!
The popular Ivy restaurant closed in June when an employee tested positive for COVID-19. Shortly after, Chef Laura Fonner left the restaurant to launch a food truck, Dumplin‘, and a private catering business. Now, Duner’s has returned to the Culture of Takeout, with a familiar face running the kitchen.
Hayden Berry cooked at Duner’s from 1988 through 2005, before leaving to open Three Notch’d Grill with his wife Cathy. Berry even helped to train Fonner during her early days at Duner’s. Now Berry has returned to the kitchen he helped to make famous. Takeout is available Thursday through Sunday, and within a few weeks limited onsite dining will resume as well. Duner’s also is constructing a tented and heated patio, which it plans to open next month.
