The Charlottesville 29

If there were just 29 restaurants in Charlottesville, what would be the ideal 29?

Why Zocalo?

In a word, consistency.  Over the last decade, no area restaurant has produced excellent food as consistently as the kitchen run by Zocalo chef-owners Andrew Silver and Ivan Rekosh.  Zocalo’s many loyal customers always know what to expect: a stable menu of outstanding Latin-American influenced food, professional service, and well-paired wines that stand up to the fire and spice.  Whether  for a bowl of mussels and a beer at the bar, or dressed up for a special occasion, Zocalo never disappoints.  The Charlottesville 29 would not be complete without Zocalo, one of Charlottesville’s signature restaurants.
